Have you noticed the uptick in Final Fantasy XIII stories of late? Pretty much every week sees new revelations on the game, be it the latest update from Famitsu or a few dozen high res images (added today, so do check them out).

All of this is in anticipation of the game's December 17 Japanese release date. That's right -- there's less than a month to go!

You might think that, with such little time left, Square Enix was all done with the trailers. We assumed as much ourselves.

But Square Enix proved us wrong with an update at the FFXIII official site. Click on the "Trailer" section, and you'll see a counter which is counting down to the game's "final trailer."

The counter appears to be pointing to an unveiling on the 25th (Japan time). That's also when we expect to get new details on the game from the latest batch of Japanese magazines.
