According to the all-knowing font that is The Mirror, Sony and Samsung have teamed up with LOVEFiLM to provide on-demand streaming for their Bravia TV range. Extrapolating further, the paper has then decided that the service “hints at the possibility of the PS3 gaining LOVEFiLM streaming” because “LOVEFiLM will be integrated into the XrossMediaBar menus on the new Bravias” which, as our readers will know, is the same menu system as used on the PS3.
LOVEFiLM is preparing an announcement in the next few days, apparently, and although we’re 99% sure it’s not heading towards Planet PlayStation, consider this a heads-up if you’re thinking of buying a new television at least
