This follows reports from last month (citing an alleged SEGA document) that a Sony product evaluator said the game, "felt barely RPG," with an initial level that was, "too challenging for players," and that "Mass Effect felt more RPG".
"Alpha Protocol is a new take on the RPG genre and from day one the team has been... |
Despite Polyphony Digital's Kazunori Yamauchi assurances that Gran Turismo 5 is ready for release, we still have nothing firmer than an early 2010 release date. Perhaps the reasons behind such a wait are due to the manufacturing time needed to produce the three blu-ray discs that seem to be included in the final version.
In a promotional video for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG which features in the game (embedded below), Yamauchi-san clearly wields a package that contains space for three discs. Now we're not suggesting the game is so huge that it... |
Siliconera recently uncovered a patent for a mysterious Sony hand held controller, and when we went looking we discovered several different variations. The embedded images are from three different patents that we unearthed, each it seems variations on the standard concept of a controller that's not too dissimilar to the Wii Remote. It lacks the unnamed motion controller's essential orb (pictured below), so either Sony has managed to make this a little more subtle than the prototype design or it's a controller for something else entirely.
Unfortunately there's... |

Episodes From Liberty City Hints At GTA V? News
So we're the type of gamers that don't spend two seconds on game manuals. By the time we've ripped open the packaging, the disc is already spinning in the drive and there's no time for inconsequential activities such as reading.
But sometimes such an overlook can be costly.
When Episodes From Liberty City arrived earlier in the week we paid little attention to the manual; we know how to play GTA by now. But for those who actually went to the effort of looking, a little... |

Despite the dozens (and sometimes hundreds) of moves available per pugilist, intricate juggle combos, complex counters, and esoteric gameplay quirks that have evolved through five prequels, Tekken 6 is an altogether welcoming fighting game. For veterans, the game offers the most comprehensive roster in the history of the series, a new way to extend damaging combos, and enough change to--whilst not exactly feeling brand new--make it feel exciting to play Tekken again. For newcomers, the game's comprehensive training modes and expansive single-player beat-'em-up campaign serve as an enticing gateway... |
